The United States Naval Academy offers a summer program through the international Programs office known as Language Regional Expertise and Culture: LREC for short. Led by a professor of Oceanography at USNA, 4 Midshipman will be studying meteorology in the maritime continent while also being immersed in the culture of the region. This blog is meant to be a means for all of us to reflect as well as articulate the things we see and learn.
